Veronika Wildgruber
“Independent of everything, strong and distinct.” - Veronika Wildgruber
What began as a shared assistant role and a communal design space became the foundation for something much greater. Through curiosity, collaboration, and a distinctive creative vision, Veronika Wildgruber carved out a unique place in the world of independent eyewear design beginning as a four pair collection in 2010. What followed was the emergence of one of the industry’s most distinctive voices. Now based in Berlin, Wildgruber creates collections that celebrate the harmony found within contrasts, where innovation, craftsmanship, and individuality come together in every frame.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, geometry, and futurism, the collection explores the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional form. Each design is an exercise in balance; glossy surfaces reveal subtle matte details, while clean contours are paired with unexpected edges. The result is eyewear that is instantly recognizable as well as both visually compelling and comfortably wearable.
Exceptional craftsmanship and responsible manufacturing remain at the brand’s core. Every frame is produced by family-owned artisans in Germany and Italy, with Wildgruber and her team thoroughly involved throughout the production process. Since her debut, Wildgruber has continued to uphold thoughtful production practices, seeking ways to reduce waste and give materials a second life. From cases crafted with 100% regenerated leather to cleaning cloths made from recycled plastics, sustainability is woven into the brand's philosophy reflecting a commitment to responsible design that extends beyond the eyewear itself.
