Dr. Graham Berg

Originally from the wild (and very flat) west of Saskatchewan, Dr. Graham Berg brings a broad range of clinical, academic, and business experience to Insight Eye Care. His clinical interests include pediatric eye care, binocular vision, and ocular disease management.
Graham earned his Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the University of Waterloo, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University, and Doctor of Education (EdD) from Ontario Tech University. His research spans both individual patient care and healthcare organizations, exploring ocular disease interventions, the relationship between vision and learning, and how healthcare organizations learn and adapt. His work has been published in peer-reviewed healthcare journals, and he regularly teaches clinical and organizational science to fellow healthcare professionals.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), Graham completed fellowship case studies focused on neurological binocular vision disorders and received advanced ocular disease training at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He also serves as a clinical supervisor for the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science and is Director of Urgent Care Services at the Ocular Health Centre (OHC), a collaborative ophthalmology and optometry centre specializing in complex ocular disease, eye emergencies, and surgical care.
Outside the clinic, Graham enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, woodworking, reading, and hiking. His favourite eyewear lines are Lindberg and MYKITA, and his favourite local independent businesses include Rumbletum Café & Gifts and Crowsfoot Smokehaus.
