Emmanuel Perez

Emmanuel has deep roots in our community; he grew up in the KW region and completed all his schooling in Waterloo. In 2020, he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University, with double minors in Biology and Psychology as well as a concentration in Health & Rehabilitation. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction and receiving the A.W. Cole Award for top clinical excellence and proficiency.
Although Emmanuel is a new addition to our Doctor team, his journey with Insight Eye Care began in 2020. Over the years, he has worn many hats at our practice - receptionist, diagnostic technician, eyewear consultant, and optical team lead - giving him a well-rounded understanding of the patient experience from every angle.
Outside of work, Emmanuel stays active any way he can: climbing, cycling, running, boxing, camping, and hiking. If there's an adventure to be had, he's up for it. His favourite independent eyewear brands are Orgreen and Bevel.
