Dr. Cassandra Bendall

Cassandra was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, but has fallen in love with Waterloo’s surrounding greenery and extensive biking trails, and now calls Waterloo home. In 2018 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honors with distinction from Guelph University. She majored in Biomedical Science and minored in Psychology: Brain and Cognition. Cassandra then went on to complete her Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction. She was awarded the Alcon Award for Excellence in Ocular Health for being the top student both academically and clinically in diagnosing and managing ocular disease.
Cassandra is a new addition to our team and is excited to provide full scope eye care. Her interests include ocular disease, myopia control, and binocular vision.
Outside of the clinic Cassandra enjoys cycling, spending time with her two fur babies, and exploring new places. Her favorite independent brands are RAPP and RES / REI. Her favorite local businesses are Rural Roots in Elmira and The Friendly Society in Elora.
