All the way from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Carolyn is an Insight Eye Care optometrist with a background in orthoptics.
Carolyn is a Doctor of Optometry graduate from the University of Waterloo. We brought Carolyn into the Insight Eye Care family in 2012. Prior to optometry, Carolyn completed a Graduate Diploma in Orthoptics and Ophthalmic Medical Technology at Dalhousie University and is a proud alumna of St. Francis Xavier University. She participates in industry-sponsored optometric research, acting as a principal investigator for clinical studies through collaboration with CORE. Carolyn is passionate about Myopia Management and co-leads the Myopace clinic at Insight.
Carolyn’s favourite eyewear lines are MYKITA and TAVAT and Dailies Total 1 contacts for when she’s standing on her head (okay, she doesn’t stand on her head, but she is active). When Carolyn is away from the office she is running, playground hopping with her toddler or travelling to Nova Scotia to visit family.
